Hanwell United went goal crazy as they booked their Feathers Cup semi-final spot with a 9-0 demolition of FC Zion on Sunday.

Top scorer Ross Ahir, Dominic Parillon and Matthew Hills all hit hat-tricks as the W7 outfit set up a last-four showdown with West Ealing.

Parillon’s quick-fire brace put Dean Spencer’s side in the driving seat at Ealing Central before Hills slammed home his first from a Spencer cross to give them breathing space.

Hat-trick hero: Hanwell hot-shot Ross Ahir

Ahir opened his account on the stroke of half-time to put the game out of the visitors’ reach when he rolled his defender and smashed the ball into the roof of the net.

Hanwell started the second half as they finished the first, and it was not long before Ahir and Parillon completed their trebles.

There was still time for Hills to wrap up his hat-trick to round off a thumping victory for United – their biggest in four years – with Harry Keeler keeping his first clean sheet of the season between the sticks.

Harry Stannett and Chris Barnes also impressed for the hosts.

Elsewhere, Newton City caused an upset as they stunned high-flying Sheen Park Rangers in their Chiswick & District League, Division One encounter.

Nick Petiuzzello headed City’s opener on 30 minutes before Ben Amaning’s second-half penalty just after the hour mark put them in control.

Sheen pulled one back on 75 minutes, but a man of the match performance from City keeper Irving Shillingford made the points safe.
