Fulham welcome Preston North End to Craven Cottage with only a point separating the two sides as they hunt down the play-off places.

It looks set to be a fantastic atmosphere in west London with Preston choosing this game as their annual Gentry Day outing, so expect to see row upon row of bowler hats in the away end as the travelling fans pay respect to those who have passed away in the last year.

Meanwhile, on the pitch, Fulham will be without Lucas Piazon and Thanos Petsos, with Piazon out as a result of a jaw injury while Petsos is struggling with a calf problem.

We're expecting a good game with both sides believing they can get a victory over the other, and we'll be live from 1.30pm with all the updates as Slavisa Jokanovic's side look to keep touch with the teams currently occupying those four play-off places.

Keep an eye out for reaction

That’s it from the live blog today - we’ll have the reaction from Slavisa shortly, as well as an interview with Tom Cairney on Monday

Onto Leeds

Fulham did what was required from them this afternoon and to good effect - thoughts move onto Leeds on Tuesday in what is another big game for Jokanovic’s side

FULL TIME: Fulham 3-1 Preston

A great result for Fulham and one they deserved all game - a solid performance and another three points as they chase down the play-off places

Cunningham into the book

Cunningham is late on Fredericks and receives a yellow for his troubles

Man of the match

My man of the match today is Aluko - a goal and an assist are just part of the reason, however.

He’s been a constant threat all game and has looked like making something happen every time he has touched the ball.

A real class performance today

Three minutes added

Minimum of three minutes added time here as Fulham edge closer to another three points

Nearly there

Fulham are nearly over the line as Aluko comes off to a big reception, to be replaced Odoi

Another Fulham sub

Chris Martin is the man to make way this time as he is replaced by Cyriac for the final five minutes

They've got the two goal cushion back

A third goal was needed and Fulham have got it! It has been a tremendous performance from the home side and Jokanovic will be extremely pleased with what he’s seen out there today

More subs

Johansen is replaced by Parker, while for Preston, May replaces Hugill

GOAL! Fulham 3-1 Preston

Kebano restores the two goal lead!

Aluko turns provider this time and plays him in inside the box, and the winger tucks it home!

Goal!
Goal!

Robinson blazes over

Oh dear - Robinson has space on the left as he cuts in, but he smashes his strike well wide and well high of Button’s goal - 15 minutes left here

Responding well

Fulham have responded well to conceding the goal and are starting to keep hold of possession once again.

They look dangerous going forward too, but you hope their commitment to men going forward doesn’t mean the top two of Hugill and Robinson will have space to run in behind

Fulham must keep their heads

Fulham have to keep their heads now and carry on as they were going.

Preston are looking dangerous on the break and that could be a worry for Jokanovic’s side, another goal is very much needed I reckon

GOAL! Fulham 2-1 Preston

Barkhuizen finds himself through on goal and he makes no mistakes, putting the ball past Button to halve the deficit - game on here

That was needed

Fulham needed that - Preston were starting to get into the game and that Martin goal has solidified the host’s grip on the game.

A great goal too, Fredericks has been a pain all game for Preston and it was his pass that found Martin for the finish

GOAL: Fulham 2-0 Preston

They have their second!

Martin is played in and finds himself with acres of space, and he has enough time to pick his spot and slot it underneath Maxwell to double the advantage!

Goal!
Goal!

The hosts are riding their luck

Preston are having the better of things now and after some sustained pressure the ball is smashed behind Button’s goal.

McGeady is starting to cause problems now

First subs

First Preston subs - Horgan is replaced by Robinson, while Browne comes off for Pearson

Preston in good voices

The Preston fans are still in good voices despite being a goal down - they’re currently waving their bowler hats while signing “we are the gentry”

Another Fulham corner

Johansen turns and finds Cairney whose effort is deflected behind for a corner

Good save from Button

Preston’s two Irishmen combine as McGeady feeds Horgan, who has a go but Button dives to his right and pushes the ball behind for a corner

Onto the post!

Kebano unleashes a drive from the wide left and Maxwell gets a touch to clip it onto the post!

Unchanged sides

Both sides are unchanged for the second half

KICK OFF: Second half

We’re back underway here with McGeady getting us underway for the last 45

Sides are back out

The teams are back out for the second half - let’s hope Fulham can put a few more chances away

HALF TIME: Fulham 1-0 Preston

The referee brings a close to the half, and what a good half that was from the hosts.

Aluko’s goal is the difference here but the width that the home side have is causing all types of problems for Preston.

Fredericks is looking dangerous as is Sessegnon down the left - if they carry on like this I can’t see them losing this tie.

Two mins added on

We’re into two minutes stoppage time here and Martin is telling Sessegnon to slow things down

Another Fredericks pull back

Fredericks is having a great game down the right, but this time his pullback is cleared for a Fulham corner
