FA CUP, THIRD ROUND REPLAY

Fulham 3-0 Norwich City

Fulham booked a  trip to Sheffield United with a comfortable win against Norwich City.

Goals from Darren Bent, Ashkan Dejagah and Steve Sidwell saw the Cottagers put the Canaries to the sword and seal their spot in round four.

The Whites welcomed back Maarten Stekelenburg and Brede Hangeland from injury as Rene Meulensteen made nine changes from the side that lost to Sunderland at the weekend.

Stekelenburg came to Fulham's rescue inside three minutes when he denied Nathan Redmond from point-blank range.

The Canaries were thwarted again moments later - this time by the woodwork - as Robert Snodgrass saw his curling effort cannon back off the bar.

Fulham grew into the game; Sidwell stung the hands of Mark Bunn from long range before they eventually broke the deadlock on 16 minutes.

Pajtim Kasami's cross from the right was helped on by Dejagah to Bent, whose low shot beat Bunn from 12 yards.

The Cottagers doubled their lead four minutes before the break. Giorgos Karagounis played in Alex Kacaniklic down the right, who crossed for Dejagah to slam the ball home from close range.

Norwich rallied after the interval, but they failed to test Stekelenburg in the Fulham goal.

The visitors were left with a mountain to climb midway through the half when Sascha Riether's teasing cross from the right was powered home by Sidwell to wrap up victory.
