Hanwell United booked their place in the Feathers Cup final with a thumping 4-0 win at neighbours West Ealing.

Dean Spencer’s side dominated from the start and broke the deadlock on 20 minutes when top scorer Ross Ahir smashed the ball home from inside the box.

Goal machine Dominic Parillon continued his scoring spree to double the visitors’ lead on the half-hour mark before Matt Hills finished off a fine team move to put them out of sight by the break.

United took their foot off the gas after the interval but Parillon added another to his impressive haul when he scored from close range to seal their spot in next month’s final.

Rob Kempson impressed at right-back, while Charlie Wicks was pulling the string in the middle of the park.

Hanwell remain on course for the double and their title chances were boosted after rivals Winning Post suffered a shock defeat at Newton City.

Jermain Abrams put City 1-0 up five minutes before the break, then Ben Amaning added a penalty midway through the second half to out them in command.

The visitors pulled one back 10 minutes from time, but Abrams scored his second to seal the points.

Rob Ennis was man of the match.
