The first goal came in the 5th minute when a good fast flowing move down the left wing from Pedro Cotelo who fed the ball to Guy Tahin who turned and had a shot that hit a defenders legs but rebounded to Jabir Laraba who was in a good position to shoot but his shot hit the bar and he followed it in to pick up the rebound and tap it home to open the scoring.

Then in the 7th minute an attack from the right wing saw Omar El Bakkali cross into Tehin who mad no mistake this time smashing his shot into the net past a helpless keeper. 

In the 20th minute Tehin turned provider when he ran to the dead ball line and cut the ball back to El-Bakkali who had the easy job of side footing it home for number three.

But then in a rare attack from Hatfield a cross from the right found Sion Hardy left in the clear to fire home for what turned out to be a consolation goal in the 42nd minute.

The second half got under way just as quickly as the first as the Tigers swept past the Hatfield defence with passes from Laraba to Tehin to Cotelo on the left wing then from him back inside to El-Bakkali who deflected it cleverly into the net in the 46th miunute.

The fifth goal came in the 58th minute as yet another flying move involving Cotelo ,Laraba and El- Bakkali saw the ball reach Tehin at the far post and he rather flukily slipped the ball into the net.

Then for the sixth El-Bakkali broke clear to fire home and complete his hat-trick in the 62nd minute. then in the 80th minute Tehin also cleared the Hatfield defence on his own and rounded the keeper to hit the back of the net to complete his hat-trick.

Just when you thought it was all over Tigers substitute Edon Majzini found himself in a position to fire home an eighth goal in the 90th minute thus completing the best scorline in the Tigers history.
