Hayes & Yeading United striker Kieran Knight has joined Blue Square Conference South rivals Hampton & Richmond Borough.

Knight had become increasingly frustrated at his lack of starting opportunities for United recently.

And with fellow strikers Scott Fitzgerald returning from a lengthy injury and Staforde Palmer back at Church Road after a loan spell at Northwood, United boss Garry Haylock agreed to Knight's release on Wednesday (11/2).

Knight's last appearance for H&Y came on Tuesday night in the 2-0 defeat at league leaders AFC Wimbledon when he came on for the final few minutes of the match.

He netted eight goals this season, the highlight being his four goals in the 4-0 FA Trophy win over Chelmsford City. Knight orginally joined United from Northwood.
