Hayes and Yeading United moved into second spot in the Blue Square Conference South with a 2-1 win at Dorchester Town on Saturday - their eighth consecutive victory.

United went ahead on 19 minutes through a Will Hendry volley and five minutes later defender Tom Cadmore made it 2-0 when he headed home from a corner.

Jamie Mudge pulled one back for Dorchester in the 76th minute but United held on for victory to move second in the table - two points behind leaders AFC Wimbledon who come to Church Road on Saturday.

United have completed the signing of 19-year-old defender Neil Martin, who has been on loan from Exeter City.
