Isaac Mpiana struck two goals, including a superb last minute winner, as Whitton Wanderers U16 Youth came from behind twice to beat Abbey Rangers 3-2 on Sunday, with Matthew Osborne netting the other.

Second half goals from Joslin Gorleku and Archie Horton, plus an outstanding performance from captain Patrick Kavanagh, saw the U12s win 2-1 at promotion rivals Sandgate, while the goals were shared between Aiden Cornish, Charlie Power, Connor Flaherty and Lucas Keating as the U9s scored six in the first 23 minutes in kncking Molesey Juniors Colts out of the cup 7-0.

There was also a cup win for the U10 Hawks, who knocked out Esher Wizards 4-1, with two goals from Luca Brunelli and one each from Phi Nguyen, Sherif Neziri, while player of the match went to Adam Mackinney after a fine display in defence.

Crucial win: For Whitton Wanderers U12 Youth

Meanwhile, there was a battle for the match ball as CB Hounslow United U12 Whites won their League Cup quarter final against Hook Youth 9-1, with Selim Saied and David Trinidade both hitting hat-tricks, while Jamie Benson, Jay Bates and Freddie Fraser-Grante also made the score sheet.

It was the same story for the U8 Blues, who beat Staines Town by the same score, with Malek Kaoud and Zidaan Khan this time hitting hat-tricks, while David Ott struck two and Jacob Boulton one.

Tyrese Behary-Williams hit a double as the the U11 Greens drew 2-2 at Kew Park Rangers, while the U14 Blues drew by the same score at Worcester Park, with goals from Trisdan Andrews and Alkhidri Nassor, and there was another 2-2 draw for the U14 Whites, who were held 2-2 at Waddon Wanderers, with goals from Alfie Saunders and Talal Bakoush.

Semi final slot: CB Hounslow United U12s

There was also a trio of 2-1 defeats – for the U13s, U11 Whites and U10 Blues against Halliford Colts, Met Police and Old Isleworthians respectively – with consolation goals coming from Jayden Scotts, Lunase Sylvester and Bailey Cooke.

Two goals from Salmon Hassan and one from Jon Lloyd were not enough as the U14 Greens lost narrowly 4-3 at Corinthian Casuals, but the U7s edged out Walton & Hersham 6-5 and the U11 Blues were beaten 4-0 at Molesey Juniors.

The U15s suffered a rare defeat at Taplow, going down 4-1 despite a goal from Kane Kennedy, while a Bobby Bellchambers strike was little to shout about as the U9s lost 7-1 to Kew Association, and the U10 Whites lost 2-0 at Kew Park Rangers.
