Mason Randall knew he would be watching his heroes when he went to Brentford's game on Saturday - but he probably never imagined he would meet the England manager.

However, Roy Hodgson was at the game against Charlton at Griffin Park as the guest of FA chairman and former Brentford chairman, Greg Dyke.

Mason, aged eight, who plays for Brentford's Academy U9s, was lucky enough to spot Hodgson leaving the ground and took the opportunity to have his photo taken with the Three Lions boss.

It was a day to remember all round for the young Bees fan, who watched his favourite team come from behind to grab a late equaliser against Charlton in their Championship opener.
