JOSH WRIGHT was unbeaten during his time at Brentford - but says he'll be gunning for his old-team-mates when Gillingham visit Griffin Park on Saturday.

The Charlton Athletic midfielder played six times for the Bees during a month's loan earlier this eason, before being recalled for first-team duty at the Valley.

But Wright has been shipped back out on loan to Brentford's League Two promotion rivals Gillingham, who are hot on the heels of Andy Scott's side.

And the 19-year-old, who says he loved every minute of his time in west London, will be looking to upset his old mates in three days time.

He said: "I still look out for Brentford's results, and it's good to see them top.

"I really enjoyed it there, especially remaining unbeaten. But I'm at Gillingham now, and obviously I really want to win.

"However, I wouldn't celebrate if I scored."

Wright is one of four ex-Bees currently plying their trade at Priestfield, alongside striker Mark McCammon, defender Garry Richards and keeper Alan Julian.

But centre-back Leigh Mills, who had his season-long loan from Spurs cancelled by Brentford last summer, was also released from his loan deal at the Gills and is now a free agent.
