One former Harrow Borough player’s World Cup dream is set to continue tonight (Thursday) as Ghana take on Portugal as Group G draws to an exciting conclusion.
Albert Adomah, who came through the ranks at Earlsmead and now plays for Middlesborough, made his debut on the game’s biggest stage as a substitute last week, when the Black Stars were beaten by the USA.
He did not make it off the bench on Saturday though as Ghana claimed an exciting 2-2 draw with Germany to keep their slim hopes of qualification alive ahead of this evening’s final game.
