Wolves have snatched a talented footballer from under the noses of Championship rivals Brentford and QPR.

The Midlanders have snapped up two-footed teen Andrew Harris from the Conquest Academy, based at Redless Park in Isleworth - less than two miles from Brentford's Griffin Park ground.

The 17 year old winger also hails from Shepherd's Bush, a QPR heartland. He has initially signed for Wolves' U18s and will step up to their U23s next season.

Signing on: Harris becomes a Wolves player

Harris is the seventh youngster to sign for a pro club in the three years that the Conquest Academy has been running, with another soon to follow.

Toby Sibbick and Great Nii-Okai Evans have signed full pro and U18 forms respectively with AFC Wimbledon, while Micael Fatela has also been snapped up by Paris SG's U18s.

Kyle Wilson (Leyton Orient U15s), Jessick Bonilla-Hurtado (Reading U14s) and Jaami Qureshi (Brighton U13s) are the others.
