A late double from Matt Smith and Luke Freeman gave QPR deserved point against rivals Brentford.

Ian Holloway's side were second best until the striker's second half brace, but fought back late on to take a point from the Bees.

A spirited display, but who were QPR's top performers?

Three stars - Alex Smithies

The stopper proved his class once again, making a number of outstanding saves, particularly in the first half.

Despite being beaten by two decent Lasse Vibe strikes, Smithies showed his quality throughout, stopping Brentford from extending their lead.

Two stars - Josh Scowen

A west London derby was made for a player like Scowen, and he certainly didn't shy away from the challenge.

As well as playing his usual deep-lying role, the midfielder looked dangerous from the edge of the area, putting two or three efforts just off target.

One star - Luke Freeman

The midfielder has had a quiet few weeks for QPR, but looked much closer to his usual self against the Bees.

Freeman had a quiet first half, but looked dangerous in the second, driving into the heart of Brentford's defence and causing problems unlike any they'd faced until then.

Also finished the fight-back with QPR's second of the night.
