Ross McCormack is the most creative player for Fulham in the Championship, statistics suggest.

The Scottish forward has set up an average of 2.2 chances per game in the league this season - more than any other player at the club.

The Trinity Mirror Data Unit has taken the number of chances created per player, as compiled by Opta, for those to have played in 10 or more games.

In his 18 games in the league this season, McCormack has set up a teammate 40 times - 2.2 per game.

Seven of those (18 per cent) were turned into goals - one of the highest ratios in the league.

Just behind McCormack for Fulham is Hugo Rodallega with 24 chances in 14 appearances - 1.7 per game.

Then comes Bryan Ruiz (1.6 per game), Lasse Vigen Christensen (1.4) and Scott Parker (0.9).

Nationally, Birmingham's David Cotterill has been the league's most creative player with 3.8 chances per game.

Just behind Cotterill is Norwich's Nathan Redmond.

The former Birmingham midfielder has created 61 chances for teammates in 18 appearances - 3.4 per game.

The player with the third most chances per game is Rotherham's Ben Pringle (3.2) followed by Tom Cairney of Blackburn (2.9) and then jointly Huddersfield's Jacob Butterfield and Wes Hoolahan of Norwich (2.7).

However, if we were to look at assists per game, then we get a slightly different story.

With nine assists in 19 appearances, Bournemouth's Matt Ritchie comes out top.

He's followed by Alan Judge of Brentford with eight in 19 games (0.4 per game).

The rest of the top five is then made up jointly by McCormack, Nottingham Forest's Michail Antonio, Teddy Bishop of Ipswich Town and Rodallega (all 0.4)
