Whitton U8 Eagles produced a wonderful display of football to claim second place in a four-team tournament.
They beat Esher Wizard Reds in their first game thanks to an Oliver Palmer strike, but were indebted to the excellent performance of goalkeeper Joseph Hayward.
The Eagles followed that up with a creditable 2-2 draw against G4GFC, who went on to win the event.
The coach said: “Well done Eduardo, Joseph, Harry, Oscar, Jackson and Oliver, you all made the coach very proud!”
Whitton U10 Falcons secured a thumping win over CB Hounslow Whites with four first half goals helping them to victory.
Kairan set up Alf to open the scoring after just 10 minutes before Sonny set up an own goal nine minutes later.
Just 60 seconds later, Sonny was provider again as he set up Matthew to drill the ball into the bottom corner and he had his second just before half-time.
Although Hounslow came back into the game, scoring ones, the Falcons could have had more goals.
The U12's won 2-0 away to Shelton in a top of the table clash with two first half goals from Patrick Kavanagh, who was ably supported by George Antonioni & Cade Jordan.
The U11 Youth enjoyed a strong 3-0 away win over AFC Walcountians thanks to goals from Kieran Rayat-Jones, Ethan Sandy and Conaill Ryan.
Whitton Scarlett’s made a second half comeback to share the points in a 2-2 draw with Molesey Juniors thanks to Ruby Dykes' fine finish and a superb header from Cadence Coombs, while Ella Hills produced a Terry Butcher impression after a bloody nose.
The U10 Wrens were beaten in their first pre-season friendly against Kew Park Rangers with Flo producing a Lionel Messi-esque strike.
The U7 Panthers produced an impressive performance to beat Esher Colts 6-3. Yuvraj Sehkon and Sabion Morina scored twice, while Yusuf Hewavitarne and Micah Jarvis wrote their names onto the scoresheet.
