QPR fans are used to seeing Sandro pulling the strings in midfield but it seems he’s also good at plucking them on his guitar.

The Brazilian international is a man of many talents and Sky Sports TV show Soccer AM has uncovered the hidden depths of the powerful Hoops star.

Sandro has revealed he has been playing music for seven years and has also turned his hand to the art of karate.

Having warmed up by belting out renditions of Coldplay’s Nobody said it was easy, the Bryan Adams classic Summer of 69 and Adele’s Someone Like You, he attended a nearby open mic night.

He got up in front of a packed house at the Red Cow pub in Sheen Road, Richmond, and sang alongside the show’s presenter while strumming on his acoustic instrument.

The evening went so well for Sandro, the R’s star even joked he would be hanging his boots up and swapping the pitch for the stage in future.

He said: “That’s it, I stop playing football now. Football is easy. I’ll be back here next Friday!”

Sandro’s QPR travel to Nottingham Forest tonight for a re-arranged Championship clash.

Soccer AM is broadcast every Saturday from at 10am on Sky Sports 1 and Sky 1. For more information and clips visit the Soccer AM website.
