Mark Warburton admitted a moment of indecision cost his Brentford side dear at Swindon this afternoon.

There was no pressure on the Bees as David Button received the ball on the stroke of half time, but rather than clear his lines, the keeper played it to Jonathan Douglas, who was surrounded by red shirts.

Swindon pounced on the error and Louis Thompson made sure it didn't go unpunished, smashing what turned out to be the winner past Button.

Warburton said: “I am very frustrated with the goal we gave away. It was indecision, and we paid the price for it.

“He gave a difficult ball to Dougie. It's disappointing, but we will learn from that. We were in control, and we had enough chances to even it up.

“But there are lots of positives to take from the game. We were strong all over the park and there was no lack of desire.

“Had we lost and they had not shown the expected desire and application, then it would be a different situation.”
