It was an unhappy return to Bournemouth for Harry Redknapp as QPR slipped to a 2-1 defeat on Saturday.

Tommy Elphick headed the Cherries in front before Armand Traore's fine goal squared things up just after half-time.

However, Lewis Grabban fired the winner from close range, while the hosts finished a man short after Harry Arter was red-carded for a lunge on Junior Hoilett.

Redknapp admitted his side lacked a cutting edge in the final third as their unbeaten run came to an end.

“I thought we should have shown a bit more imagination," he said.

“After we scored a great goal through Armand Traore I thought we’d go on to win.

“But we lacked the imagination and were too predictable. We got on the overlap and kept crossing balls and they kept heading them away.

“You’re looking for a bit more from your flair players. You’re looking for a bit more from Junior (Hoilett) and Ravel (Morrison) – but they didn’t really do it.”
