Brentford suffered their first defeat of the new season on Saturday.

Summer signing Junior Stanislas struck the only goal of the game at Bournemouth.

Bees boss Mark Warburton was disappointed with the result but believes the Cherries are an example for his side to follow this year.

Warburton said: “They're a good team and we have to look at them and learn from what they done last year. They had heavy defeats to Watford and Huddersfield, and then they did well after that.

“We came here a few years ago and the away end was open with the wind swirling around, but look at it now. The club is moving forward constantly, and we have to look at what they are doing. But I like to think others are looking to what we are doing too.”
