Fulham boosted their play-off hopes with a thumping win against Sheffield Wednesday.

First-half goals from Ross McCormack and Shaun Hutchinson put the Cottagers in the driving seat before Lasse Vigen Christensen and Cauley Woodrow sealed victory after the break.

The win moved Kit Symons’ side level with their opponents in the table after a second successive win and there were plenty of positives to take from this showing.

Symons said: "I think it’s been well documented that our defending throughout the course of the season so far hasn’t always been maybe as good as it should be.

“But that’s now two clean sheets on the spin which pleases me greatly and gives us a great platform to go on and win games.”
