Resilient Fulham incredibly came from behind three times to earn a point at Wigan Athletic on Saturday.

Bryan Ruiz was on target twice while Lasse Vigen Christensen also found the net in the six-goal thriller at the DW Stadium.

As well as the goals, the red cards were also shared as Fulham's Ross McCormack and Wigan's Leon Barnett both failed to finish the game.

"There are two ways of looking at the result,” new Whites boss Kit Symons explained. “To be 2-1 up at half-time leaves you a little bit disappointed not to win the game.

"But to be 3-2 down and a man light inside the last 10 minutes, you'd take a point, so that's what we'll be focusing on.

"I don't think I'll last too long (as a manager) if they're all like that.

"The three things I always talk about are trust, honesty and belief, and they were there in abundance today."
