Hugo Rodallega’s ninth Fulham goal of the season was enough to beat Leeds United at Elland Road on Saturday.

The in-form striker made it six in eight games with a second-half winner in Yorkshire to push the Whites further away from the relegation zone.

His manager, Kit Symons, has been delighted with the Colombian's attitude and application.

“Confidence is a huge thing in football but especially with strikers I think,” Symons said.

“His confidence is up and he’s really, really enjoying his football.

“I think you can see that and I think someone like Hugo, who’s a lovely lad, wears his heart on his sleeve and he needs to be happy, he needs to feel loved and he’s certainly that at Fulham."
