Chris Long marked his first Brentford start with a brace as the Bees swept Huddersfield aside to win by four goals to one.

The Everton striker gave the Bees the lead early in each half as his first effort was cancelled out by Harry Bunn.

Alex Pritchard , on loan from Tottenham, scored with a deflected effort to secure the points.

And Arsenal loanee Jon Toral came off the bench put an afterglow on the performance to make it four goals in his last three games.

Manager Mark Warburton was delighted with the impact Long has had on the Bees .

The Bees boss said: “I'm delighted for him. He's done great in training. He's chomping for a start. It helps Andre by giving him a rest.

“Longy has come in tonight and he'll be a real threat for the rest of the season.”
