Florian Jozefzoon spoke to the media on Wednesday (July 5) to discuss, in part, his new contract at Brentford, keeping him at the club until 2019.
The Dutchman, who joined the Bees in January, had originally penned a six-month deal with a club option for the 2017/18 season.
The club activated that at the end of the season and, after returning to prepare for the new campaign, they added a further year to his deal.
And Jozefzoon admitted it was a no brainer for him to extend his contract at Griffin Park.
“It was an easy decision. They have a goal and my goal is their goal. I know the team, the playing style. I already know them,” he said.
“I know the team already. It feels right with me and the group and I fit in. All in all, it was the right decision to extend my contract here.”
