Battling Brentford’s incredible winning streak came to an end at Huddersfield Town .

The Bees had won all of their games in November to charge towards the top of the Championship but they ran out of steam in Yorkshire to begin December with a 2-1 loss.

Jonathan Douglas did manage to beat terrific Town keeper Alex Smithies but he wasn’t about to let the visitors claim a share of the spoils and put in a real shift between the sticks to deny Mark Warburton’s team.

“We cut through them almost at will but weren’t clinical enough," Warburton admitted.

“There were some dubious decisions and we got embroiled in that side of things.

“We have to learn from it and we will, they are a great group of players."
