Moses Odubajo earned Brentford a share of the spoils with a late equaliser in Brentford's 1-1 draw against Birmingham City at Griffin Park on Saturday.

Coming on with just over 15 minutes to play, it took Odubajo just five minutes to level as he outstripped the visiting defence, and having appeared to have overrun the ball, poked out a right foot to lift it over the advancing City keeper.

Birmingham had taken an early lead when former Bee Clayton Donaldson went down under the challenge of Tony Craig in the box, and after the Brentford man was sent for an early bath, Paul Caddis tucked away the spot kick.

Bees boss Mark Warburton said: “I could not really see if it was a penalty, but I thought we had two defenders either side, so I don’t think it was a sending off and we will definitely consider an appeal.

“And I’ve got to say Jake Bidwell had a great shout for a penalty in the second half, where the leg comes up and nothing is given, so the lads feel very hard done by.”
