Tom Cairney and Ryan Sessegnon have both been named in the Championship PFA team of the year.

Voted for by players, Fulham's pair have made the side along with four Brighton players, three from Newcastle and one each from Leeds and Huddersfield.

There was some shock when Cairney wasn't included in the Football Manager team of the year, but his fellow professionals have seemingly been impressed by the midfielder, who has ten goals and ten assists this season.

Scott Malone was included at left back in the Football Manager team, but 16-year-old Sessegnon has been named at left back in the PFA side, having scored seven goals for the Cottagers this season in his debut year.

The team in full is:

Stockdale (Brighton)

Sessegnon (Fulham)

Lascelles (Newcastle)

Dunk (Brighton)

Bruno (Brighton)

Knockaert (Brighton)

Cairney (Fulham)

Mooy (Huddersfield)

Shelvey (Newcastle)

Gayle (Newcastle)

Wood (Leeds)
