Armand Traore has turned down Crystal Palace to stay at QPR.

The full-back cum winger will fight for a place in west London rather than rejoin the Rs manager who signed him for Hoops in August 2011.

New Selhurst Park boss Neil Warnock made an undisclosed but accepted offer by Rs for the 24-year-old, but Traore has decided to stay put.

The Senegalese international was a second-half sub in the 1-0 win over Sunderland and came within a whisker of adding a second.

Fox on the run: Danny Simpson

However, Danny Simpson, as revealed here on Get West London, has penned a three-year deal at Leicester City after Rangers accepted an undisclosed fee for the right-back.

The right-back has been supplanted by Mauricio Isla, who made his home debut against the Black Cats. Simpson made 33 starts and one substitute’s appearance, and scored his one R’s goal in a Capital One Cup tie against Exeter City.
