QPR are reported to be interested in Peterborough striker Jack Marriott, according to reports in the Daily Mail.

The Hoops are on the lookout for a prolific front-man, with Ian Holloway's side struggling to find a clinical edge in front of goal.

Peterborough's Jack Marriott

If these reports are to be believed, QPR face stern competition for the signing of the 23-year-old, with Aston Villa, Sunderland and Millwall all reportedly keen.

Marriott has hit the ground running this season, having scored 17 goals in 30 appearances for the Posh after joining from Luton Town last summer.

It's thought that a fee of £2.5m would be needed for Peterborough to consider selling, so it remains to be seen whether QPR would be willing to pay such a fee with a hefty Financial Fair Play fine hanging over them.
