Bedfont Sports are wishing captain Darren Gardiner a speedy recovery from a dislocated ankle and broken leg sustained at the weekend.

The small consolation for Gardiner was that his side won 6-0 at Hayes Gate in the Middlesex County Premier, thanks on no small part to Neville Barrett's hat-trick.

Paul Cooney chipped in with a brace, while Azeez Dairo completed the scoring.

Former Wycombe striker Leeyon Phelan made his debut for Bedfont Sunday and showed his obvious

class with four goals in half-an-hour either side of half-time.Tosie Fasinro completed the scoring as they beat Twickenham Rangers 5-2. All five goals came in the last 17 minutes as the Sunday seconds beat Stanwell 3-2, with Jason Kettles, Charlie Baker and Ricky Farden on target.

The Sunday thirds won by the same scoreline at Sunbury Athletic thanks to a last-minute own-goal. Simon Lamb and Vinny Hodge had earlier put them in the driving seat. But the Sunday fourths went down 7-5 to Uxbridge Town.
