Ashley Cole looks destined to end his eight-year stay at Stamford Bridge this summer and we’ve gone back through the archives to create an interactive timeline of the Chelsea man's career so far.

The 33-year-old full-back announced last night that he would be seeking another club when his Blues contract expires next month.

He has been playing second fiddle to Cesar Azpilicueta this term and is not prepared to warm the bench again next season.

But the former England defender will leave with his head held high and a shed-load of memories and medals from his successful stint in SW6.

While at Chelsea he won one Premier League title, one Champions League, one Europa League, and four FA Cups.

The last of those, coming in May 2012 after the Blues beat rivals Liverpool at Wembley, gave him a record seventh winners medal in football's oldest competition.

He also won one League Cup and one Community Shield during his Stamford Bridge career, as well as prizes with Arsenal and 107 caps for England.

Check out our timeline of his career milestones below.
