Kingsbury London Tigers 1 Eton Manor 0

The Tigers ensured their history-making FA match ended happily at Kingsbury on Saturday.

Kingsbury were the first Asian Muslim-run football club in West London to compete in the prestigious competition and more than 100 fans turned up for the extra preliminary round clash.

Edson Cata scored the goal that booked them a trip to Ryman Division One North outfit Concord Rangers on August 30.

"It was an exciting and memorable day for us all," said Mesba Ahmed, the Tigers' chief executive. "This is one of the main reasons why we created our organisation - to provide opportunities for young people from inner city areas of London to excel in sports."
