With the international break coming to an end, attention returns to the Championship and a long trip to face recently-relegated Sunderland.

QPR are on a run of five games without a victory, and they'll be hoping to put a swift end to this miserable run with a victory against the struggling Black Cats.

The Hoops haven't been awful by any stretch of the imagination, and the feeling is that with a few more polished individual performances, that much-needed victory may be just around the corner.

But who needs to step up for Ian Holloway's side? We take a look at three players who must find their form.

Pawel Wszolek

The winger's form tailed off significantly following a lively start to the season.

Despite starting off on the front foot, Wszolek hasn't looked the same player since returning from the last international break, looking like a player bereft of confidence as he's shied away from running at defenders in favour of looking for the easy pass.

We're all very aware of what the Poland international can do with the ball at his feet, and he's one player who will be determined to re-find his form if he's to retain his place in Ian Holloway's side.

Conor Washington

The forward was open in the press about his lack of goals this season, and it's something that he'll be looking to improve for sure.

Despite getting off to an excellent start with a brace on the opening day against Reading, Washington then went 10 games without a goal before hitting the net with a consolation goal against Fulham before the international break.

That goal may have been irrelevant as part of that match, but it will have done the world of good for his confidence, and after a successful trip away with Northern Ireland, Washington will be chomping at the bit to get on the score-sheet at the Stadium of Light.

Jamie Mackie

The striker has been given a thankless task in recent weeks as Ian Holloway has selected him as a lone man up front.

I don't think anyone would describe Jamie Mackie has a natural goal-scorer, but his job has been made significantly harder with the lack of support he's had in recent games, making him the definition of an isolated figure up front.

Mackie has, however, chipped in with three goals so far this season, but if he's to improve that tally then he'll need the support of another front-man, whether it's in the shape of Conor Washington, or the likes of Idrissa Sylla or Matt Smith, to act as a focal point to any attacks, allowing the 31-year-old to focus on picking up any scraps and giving the defenders little time on the ball.
