At £4.14 per goal, Brentford had the best value season ticket in league football last season.

The club charged £149 for their cheapest season ticket according to the BBC Price of Football.

With the Bees scoring 36 home goals last season that works out at just £4.14 a goal - the best value out of the top four divisions.

And they could be heading down the same track this year, with their first home game of the season ending in a seven-goal thriller against Nottingham Forest on Saturday, unfortunately in the visitors' favour.

Huddersfield had the next best value season ticket at £5.26 per home goal. The Terriers are followed by Blackpool (£5.50), Accrington (£5.53) and Fulham (£5.64).

Southampton had the worst value ticket at £31.82 per goal. The Saints are followed by Arsenal (£26.00), Middlesbrough (£23.35) and Sunderland (£21.88).
