Adel Taarabt has been pencilled back into QPR plans just a week after his manager claimed the midfielder was 'three stone' overweight.
Harry Redknapp admitted he was 'needled' after the 3-2 defeat to Liverpool last week when he let fly at the Moroccan international over his alleged lack of effort.
But the man in charge insisted he bore no grudges after a very public war of words, and is scheduled to make a reserve outing against Swansea on Tuesday afternoon.
Redknapp added after the 2-0 win over Aston Villa: "Adel can still play a part in the future. All I ask people to do is come in every day, train and be thankful they are a professional footballer.
"He's a fantastic talent, I just hope he don't waste it. He's working hard this week with the fitness coaches.
"We have a game tomorrow, and he and maybe one or two of the other lads can get a game into themselves.
"The stats showed earlier in the season we were getting outworked. But against Liverpool (last week) they showed the opposite and against Aston Villa again."
