ALAN BARLOW and Kenrick Harriott bagged a brace apiece as Bedfont Sports won 4-0 at FC Deportivo Galicia in the Middlesex County Premier on Saturday.
They made the short trip to Osterley to take on a team originally formed by a group of immigrants from Galicia, in north-west Spain, in 1968.
Bedfont recovered from the early blow of losing Ricky Owen to a season-ending tendon injury by taking a 10th-minute lead when Barlow finished off a Neville Barrett through-ball.
Barlow doubled Bedfont's lead and his own tally 10 minutes later when he curled the ball home with the outside of his right boot.
After the break it was Harriott's turn to take over goal-scoring duties, and made it 3-0 with 15 minutes left.
The same player then notched his second and Bedfont's fourth with a left-foot volley with five minutes remaining.
* AJAY KATYAL was sent off as Indian Gymkhana crashed 3-1 at Broadfields in the Middlesex County Premier on Saturday.
Trevor Dennison bagged a goal for Gymkhana, but it was not enough after they went in 2-0 down at the break.
Man-of-the-match Kunal Marld nabbed a brace as the Reserves beat North Kensington Reserves 3-2 in the Senior Reserve Division.
Harminder Liddar was also on target.
* ROB HOWARD netted a brace as Hounslow Wanderers displayed their promotion credential on Saturday. They thrashed Middlesex County League Division One rivals My Generation 7-2 on their own ground after Ricky Casse had wasted a chance to open the scoring by crashing the ball against the bar. Spencer Mitchell did open the scoring after running from the halfway line and calmly finishing, before Ednilson shrugged off a defender to double Wanderers' lead.
Ben Sidhu scored from the spot after the break to put Wanderers 3-0 up, but My Generation pulled one back through a penalty of their own.
Howard curled the ball home to restore Hounslow's three-goal cushion, but when My Generation pulled another back, Howard was there again to make it 5-2.
Sub Wayne Harvey and captain Jas Sangha added two more in the closing stages.
