Fulham will be without Floyd Ayite for their west London derby with QPR, but there is an air of optimism that Tom Cairney could be back from injury after the international break.

The Scot has been missing since the win over Ipswich as he struggles with a knee injury and although Slavisa Jokanovic still can't give a definitive time line on his return, there is an optimistic view that he could return after the international break.

Meanwhile, Aboubakar Kamara will face a fitness test ahead of the game after he suffered an injury late in the 3-1 victory over Nottingham Forest on Tuesday, but the club hope he will be available for the derby.

Speaking about injuries, Jokanovic said: "At the moment we are still without Tom Cairney, Floyd Ayite and Lucas Piazon.

"Aboubakar Kamara finished the game on Tuesday with some problem and we are going to assess him, but the other parts of the squad are available for the game.

"We expect Ayite will be available for the game after the international break.

"With Cairney, there is a more optimistic and less optimistic view, in this moment I cannot give you any new information, but in the more optimistic situation we are hoping he will be available for the games after the international break against Preston."
