Slavisa Jokanovic has challenged his side to 'surprise' Reading in their Championship play-off semi final after beating Sheffield Wednesday at the weekend.

A brace from Neeskens Kebano ensured the Cottagers came from a goal behind at Hillsborough to win the tie 2-1, albeit against a much changed Wednesday side.

It was a psychological victory for Fulham , who have the best record against the other sides in the play-offs, and the head coach has challenged his side to surprise Reading ahead of their two legged play-off semi final in the coming week.

He said: "This team finished third in the regular part of the competition.

"The table says they are favourites, but we are going to try and surprise them.

2It will be a tough two games for us, and for them too. We are confident, we believe we can play good football and win the games. With this mentality, anything is possible.

"It’s going to be a very important 180 minutes for us. I expect we’re going to be competitive, we’re going to be focused, we’re going to show the ambition and desire that we’ve shown this season."
