Slavisa Jokanovic is urging Fulham to keep their composure after a 2-1 defeat to rivals QPR at Craven Cottage.

The Whites missed chance after chance throughout the match, and were behind early on when Conor Washington steered home midway through the first half.

Tim Ream levelled for the hosts shortly after the half-time break, but QPR stole the three points when Idrissa Sylla headed home on 87 minutes.

And the Whites manager was left frustrated by the plethora of misses by his side, but insists "revolution" is not necessary.

"It is mixed for them," he said. "They believe they made important things during the game, but they did not finish and didn't find any positive thing at the end of the game.

"I don't believe we needed to change all the players, or change how we try to play, we need a system, to be together, and a system to find solidarity and be more solid.

"If we created the chances and we can't finish, i don't know what the solution is. This season we have three penalties and miss three penatlies.

"In the past our confidence, we showed important things, we won important games at the beginning of the season. We were all together and we must use this base, this international break to be more strong, more organised, more calm in some situations and find the result."

The Whites boss, who was promoted with Watford last time he managed in this league, also took aim at some of his new signings.

He oversaw a summer overhaul, losing players including Ross McCormack and Moussa Dembele and replacing them with players from around Europe.

But he insisted that they need to be stronger in absence of the club captain Scott Parker , who he took off during the second half.

Jokanovic added: "This style, what we tried in the beginning of the season, this style doesn't really give us enough good results.

"But we don't need to try a revolution for a whole new side. There are many new players, they need to take part of the responsibility and understand.

"This is not France, this is not Spain, this is the Championship. Welcome to this competition.

"If i change Scott Parker and this is end of the world and no one is able to cover this position, it's simple. It is not acceptable."
