Sky Sports presenter Scott Minto has predicted an entertaining game between QPR and Fulham tonight.

The former Chelsea and West Ham midfielder will be presenting the live coverage of the west London derby this evening, and he says that the occasion really is something special.

Speaking to GetWestLondon, Minto said: "I’ve played in west London derbies, I’ve played against QPR, I’ve played against Fulham, and I think I played against Fulham at QPR, when they were at Loftus Road.

"You just get that something special, It’s just a bit different when it’s a local derby and you know it just means that little bit more to the fans.

"Ultimately all you’ve got to do as a player is do what you do in any game, and prepare well and treat like any game, but be on the button 100%."

The two sides boast completely different footballing philosophies, and Minto says that although he's looking forward to seeing how the teams match up, he's struggled to predict a winner.

He said: "I don’t think Fulham are the kind of team to make it a really tasty derby, where they’re diving in, slide tackles and two-footers because they’re the passing side, so I’ll be surprised if QPR don’t try to get into Fulham a bit and use the crowd to get them onside.

QPR manager Ian Holloway has his say on Fulham ahead of west London derby

"I’ll be honest it’s one of those games where you can’t call the outcome.

"QPR are unbeaten at home in the league and can lift themselves. They’re arguably a little bit better playing on the counter attack.

"Fulham are a very good side. They started the season a little bit slowly and just need to start winning games. They go into it on the back of a very good win mid-week.

"I’m not just sitting on the fence but I think we could genuinely get a very high-scoring draw, so that would be my prediction."
