Andy Scott will cast a further eye over Ian Pearce and Mark Phillips against Watford on Saturday as he continues his bid to replace Matt Heywood.

Ex-Chelsea, Blackburn, West Ham and Fulham veteran Pearce and former Millwall centre-back Phillips both played in Tuesday night's 3-0 win over Staines Town.

Brentford boss Andy Scott will also take another look at ex-Wycombe midfielder Andre Boucard, 'raw talent' Michael Antonio and former MK Dons full-back Miles Mitchell-Coop.

The trio all featured against Staines, but may have to wait until the Hampton & Richmond game next Tuesday for their next chance.

Antonio, who was brought to Brentford by former Bee Carl Hutchings, opened the scoring at Wheatsheaf Park, before goals from Craig Pead and Alan Connell completed a 3-0 win.
