Andy Scott insists his Brentford side are not feeling any pressure, despite staying second in League Two.

Charlie MacDonald's strike looked to have earned the Bees a win over fellow promotion-hopefuls Shrewsbury on Saturday, but a late equalier meant the game finished 1-1.

However, Scott's men could draw level with leaders Wycombe tomorrow night if they win at Chester City.

Scott said: "People try and make out because you are in the top three you are under pressure and people want to shoot you down.

"But the players love it and don’t want to be anywhere else. They want the limelight, and for people to come and watch and see how good they are.

"They’ve got no inhibitions at all. They love it. They loved the crowd today, with a bit of noise.

"They are young lads who are desperate to do well and like winning games of football. I think fans can associate with them.

"Some have come out of non-league, while some have come from higher clubs and want to get back up there.

"And the ones who haven’t played at that level want to, so they are all aspiring to do better."
