Ryan Fredericks remains a doubt for Fulham's trip to Aston Villa after only returning to first team training yesterday as Slavisa Jokanovic gave an injury update on his side.

The 25-year-old missed the 2-2 draw with Preston after injuring his foot in training during the international break and looks unlikely to start Fulham's trip to Villa Park having only returned to training on Wednesday.

Tom Cairney has also been in training and the gaffer hopes he will be able to use him in Saturday's game but remains cautious as he looks to manage his knee problem that he has had since the start of the season.

Meanwhile, all other players bar Sheyi Ojo and Lucas Piazon were in training today, including Aboubakar Kamara who has returned from an injury that has kept him out since the win at Nottingham Forest.

Jokanovic said: "Lucas Piazon and Sheyi Ojo aren't working with the team, all other players are working with us but today I am working with complete team without these two players.

"[ Tom Cairney's injury] is little bit complicated to answer in the right way, it's a long period he's been with the knee problem and I didn't have a plan to use him for 45 minutes [on Saturday] but for different situation we decided to take the risk.

"He gave us a good answer but he's still not in his best moment, we believe he made important progress forward and all the days he feels better but we must take care of him.

"I'd prefer to use him always but for another side I must respect the competition and this moment and manage what I know of the situation and I expect he can be part of the game and I try to choose what is the best for himself and my team too.

"Ryan started working yesterday with us and it isn't similar situation but it's a situation where we must take the best decision and be careful about himself too."
