It’s been a busy few days for a number of QPR players who were selected for international duty this week.

Here’s a handy round up of how the Hoops have got on so far for their countries, and who’s still to play.

Striker Conor Washingon played a key role in Northern Ireland’s 3-0 victory over San Marino. They currently sit second in Group C and can be guaranteed a place in the play-offs with a victory on Monday night when they face the Czech Republic.

Massimo Luongo played the full 90 minutes as Australia suffered a blow in their quest to qualify for the 2018 World Cup Finals by losing 2-0 to Japan on Thursday morning. The defeat means that the Socceroos must win their final qualifier against Thailand and hope that other results go their way if they’re to have any chance of making the finals.

Pawel Wszolek was an unused substitute as Poland were defeated 4-0 by Denmark on Friday night. They’ll be hoping to get a better result when they face Kazakhstan on Monday.

Michael Petrasso played the full 90 minutes as Canada won 2-0 against Jamaica in the early hours of this morning. It was the youngster’s seventh cap for his country after establishing himself at right-back.

Elsewhere, new signing Paul Smyth played a crucial role in Northern Ireland under-21s 1-0 victory over Albania. The former-Linfield man won a penalty to help his side to victory. QPR team-mate Charlie Owens did not feature.
