Ross McCormack has promised Fulham there's more to come after a slow start to life at Craven Cottage.

The former Leeds frontman topped the Championship’s scoring charts last campaign, but has managed just three goals in 13 games for his new club since his £11million move to SW6 in the summer.

However, the 28-year-old admits he is yet to hit top form and says there's room for improvement.

Hot shot: McCormack scoring against Nottingham Forest

He said: “Last year I was playing in a different position on the shoulder of defenders, while most of my energy here is focused on creating chances for others.

"I missed most of pre-season too and only played one game. It was always going to take half a dozen games to get up to speed.

“I’m not far off my best, but the signs are there. I feel good.”
