Former boss Uwe Rosler insists he won't lose any sleep over the stick he got from Brentford fans during Saturday's goalless draw at his Wigan Athletic side.

Although it was an amicable parting when Rosler left Griffin Park for the DW Stadium last December, Brentford were not happy when he returned for head of conditioning Chris Haslam and midfielder Adam Forshaw, as well as trying to lure Mark Warburton to the north-west.

Bees fans serenaded Rosler with songs like 'you're getting sacked in the morning' among others, but the German shrugged them off, saying: “I've been long enough in this business – I wont be losing any sleep over that.”

Rosler also admitted his old side got the better of his new one in the first half, forcing him into a rethink and a reshuffle at half time.

He added: “First half we were out played, which was not very productive to our confidence. Brentford did their homework and didn't let us get the ball down.

“Brentford had a game plan, they broke our rhythm. We were stretched all over the pitch and they played through us. We got opened up, and that was what they benefited from.

“Second half we were more compact and squeezed up, and that's when we caused Brentford more problems. That's not the way we wanted to play, but sometime you have to adapt in games like that.

“He (Warburton) has done a good job. They are higher in the table than us, and today they got a point at Wigan Athletic.”
