Brentford boss Uwe Rosler reckons it’s only a matter of time before Will Grigg starts scoring again.

The former Walsall frontman, who smashed 20 goals for the Saddlers last term, has endured a difficult start to life at Griffin Park, failing to find the net in his last eight outings.

Leading marksman Clayton Donaldson went 14 games without scoring during a dry spell in his debut season with the club, and manager Rosler has backed the Northern Irish international to end his drought.

He said: “Will is a great lad and a great player. He’s a bit low on confidence at the moment but I will back him to get through his, like I did with Clayton Donaldson in his first season.

“It’s very important he keeps working hard in training and games and the team will help him. He’s a very important player for us.”
