Romaine Sawyers knows that there is a belief in the Brentford camp after their 2-0 win over QPR at Loftus Road.

The midfielder scored a brilliant goal in the second half to secure the points for the visitors after Josh Clarke had given them the lead in the first half of a game they ultimately dominated.

And, after the match, Sawyers admitted that it was nice to get his first goal in the West London derby - because of how much he knows it means to the fans.

He said: "Obviously this one means the most to the fans so it's great to get my first goal against QPR.

"There is a belief. We know what we're capable of. We were say before the game about the amount of belief in the camp."

1-0: Josh Clarke scores

The game's other goalscorer, Josh Clarke also spoke after the game - and he talked of how pleased he was to perform so well in a derby match at Loftus Road.

Clarke said: "It was a special game for us - we had to focus and it's a big derby. We had to focus on coming here, playing our game and getting a massive win.

"I gave it all my best - I just wanted to perform, get my goal and do my best.
