More than 350 people turned out as Bedfont Green Youth FC held the first of two presentation nights for its 20 teams at the weekend.

Ten of the teams, from age groups U7-U10, received their prizes, while there were special awards for hot-shots Kyle Carton and Adam Ellis, who have scored 100 and 150 goals for the club respectively.

The winners included Daniel Hamlet, Lewis Wood and Josh Krishna, who won the parents' player, most improved player and manager's player of the year in the U8 Youth side.

For the U8 Colts, it was Laurence Braha, Joshua Robins and Nicole Douglas, while Killian Newport, James Newport and Tyler Smith landed the honours for the U9 Youth, while Yousef Hedfi, Liam Gregory and James Guy did likewise for the U9 Colts.

For the U10 Youth, it was Robert Harkin, Billy Hadjkyriacos and Patrick Raccani, while Tyler Bryant, James Chandler and Daniel McGann won the prizes for the U10 Colts.

Surrey Premier South champions U9 Youth, Surrey Division One South champions U10 Juniors and Surrey Premier Elite runners-up U8 Youth were also given their trophies.

Meanwhile, the club is holding trials throughout June for any players interested in joining, on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

The, which has set up a new section - AFC Bedfont Green - for all its teams which have an FA Level Two (or higher) coach, is also trialling players for its midweek U18 team, which plays in the Allied Counties League.
