Queens Park Rangers are having a tough time of it at the moment.

Six defeats on the bounce, compounded by a 3-1 reverse at home to neighbours Brentford on Saturday, 19th in the Championship table and only five points above the relegation zone.

What they wouldn't give for a piece of magic from one of their players to lift the mood.

Well, one of their men did produce a piece of magic at the weekend...on loan to a different club.

It was ADO Den Haag who were celebrating, as forgotten man Nasser El Khayati scored a thunderbolt to hand his Dutch side a 1-0 win over Sparta Rotterdam.

El Khayati, a former Burton Albion player, has enjoyed a fine loan spell in the Eredivisie, scoring four times in ten games since joining the club in January, helping them to move away from the relegation zone.

The 28-year-old took aim from fully 30 yards against Rotterdam, with his piledriver flying past home goalkeeper Roy Kortsmit and in off the inside of the post.
